 TALE 8
What was effective about the sounds they had decided to use?
They used all features of their bodies e.g mouth, hands, to create a piece which really sounded like a storm.
What was effective about the movement they had decided to use?
They moved their bodies as though the type of weather would, e.g for lightning their movement was fast and dynamic.
How did the work make you feel?
It made me feel like I was really in a storm.
What could have been developed further?
To combine their movement and sounds.
Do the sounds and movement have the same impact as just reading out the lines? Is it a better way to help tell this story?
No, because its way more interesting if they put an action with a word or a body movement it makes you feel and understand what their saying more.

  • What scene did you develop? - 1
  • What drama skills did you use to do so? - physical theatre to show his dad beating him
  • Explain what you did as your character. Why did you make these choices? (Think about character- voice/physicality.)- I played the teacher and so I had a kindness towards him as I knew he was a bright, kind boy.

  • What was effective about the characters they had decided to explore? They all had a problem that they have either faced or are facing.
  • Did the scene help you understand anything new about the play or another character?- it helped me to understand that the characters all have hidden problems that are explored during the play.
